In one of the most far-reaching collaborations ever, Microsoft and Accenture have partnered to develop a hybrid cloud platform to help enterprise businesses organize cloud services across their organization easily and more efficiently.

The package is designed to “help enterprises more easily move into cloud technologies,” said Paul Daugherty, Accenture chief technology officer. “Our large enterprise clients tell us the hybrid cloud is where they need to be. They need the combination of private and public capabilities.”

Seattle-based Avanade Inc. which was founded in 2000 as a Microsoft-Accenture joint venture will offer the new package called the Accenture Hybrid Cloud Solution for Microsoft Azure.

According to an Accenture survey, around 75 percent of all organizations have verbalized their need to move to a mixture cloud architecture, in which some computing resources are administered in house and others are run within public cloud.

Most hybrid cloud systems today have a tendency to be divided, with distinctive innovations being utilized for diverse jobs, Daugherty said. The basic idea behind the Accenture Hybrid Cloud Solution is to bind together all the assets inside the same management framework. It binds together Microsoft Azure with Accenture’s own particular set of essential tools for managing hybrid clouds.

“What customers are asking for is the ability to move to a hybrid cloud where they don’t have to do the integration pieces,” said Susan Hauser, Microsoft corporate vice president for the company’s enterprise and partner group. Avanade is “providing our customers with a cloud service along with a professional services and implementation.”

Avanade is showcasing the Accenture Hybrid Cloud Solution to large organizations, what Hauser called the Fortrune 2000. It can be utilized both to modernize IT framework and also for rapidly constructing new client facing applications. The two organizations have been chipping away at this package for over each year, as indicated by Daugherty.

“The CIO needs an integrated view of their cloud assets across the business,” Daugherty said. “They have a lot of cloud things going on. Can they understand where all the workloads are? Are they sure their departments are leveraging the right cloud resources. Those are the types of answers we are providing with our integrated view.”

Presently, Avanade has more than 22,000 employees, the organization makes over $2 billion in worldwide sales.

The Accenture Hybrid Cloud Solution for Microsoft Azure gives a dashboard that can be utilized to deal with all the Azure assets that an organization is using. The package additionally gives an organization self-service portal for employees to obtain their own Azure resources.

Avanade will also be offering consultation services, which could help an organization, set it up’s business processes so they can be executed in a facilitated environment, while meeting any vital consistence and administrative necessities.

One organization that has effectively tried this package has been Freeport-McMoRan, a worldwide metals mining organization. With the assistance of Avanade, the organization is creating an Internet of Things platform to keep closer track of the production of its gold and silver mines.
