The WFH (work from home) revolution brought many changes in the recent work of many people. Women were specifically affected and they felt the changes of the modern work-life balance. With the recent WFH revolution, women felt more pressure than men. Women are more involved in the household work, and they seem to have more obligations than ever before.

Work from home for women means that women need to take care of their families even when they work. Once the offices around the world became home offices, the orientation of the women changed. They were more involved in household duties because they spent more time at home.

At the same time, they were stressed about the work organization and overall management at work. Female leaders tend to have obligations that seem to be overwhelming.

Do you think female leaders are enjoying WFH?

Children have school duties and they also study at home, which is especially important for women who work from home. They need to deal with children’s school duties and they all work from home.

Flexible work schedules have some positive sides and these benefits are obvious. People do not spend time commuting around the town, which tremendously saves time in overall time management. Workers do not have to travel and this is something to consider as the best benefit of the WFH revolution.

Another positive side of this kind of work is location independence. Female leaders do not need to be at work or at their homes. They can work from their favorite café or from the remote office wherever they are. They can go on a vacation and still have some working duties. This is especially important for the well-being of the workers.

Remote working arrangements are also good because of money-saving possibilities. Employees save money because they do not need to use cars, pay parking fees, or dress professionally. They also do not need to buy lunches outside, which is a huge money-saving arrangement.

It is possible for the companies to save money as well. The companies do not rent office spaces and the overall maintenance of these spaces is not necessary.

You may ask what all of these facts have to do with the WFH revolution and its impact on female leaders. Well, the female leaders need to organize work for each employee. Once the female leaders decide on each role, they need to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

To maintain a good work-life balance, women need to start from themselves. They need to organize their time adequately and this is when their management abilities come to light. They will be able to give duties to each worker and this is something to consider as the most important thing in the WFH revolution.

Female leaders are sensitive to work and life changes, and they tend to have more sympathy for the other workers. They can use emotional intelligence to deal with things in a better way than men do. At the same time, they can be more enthusiastic when it comes to fighting for equality at work.

Each worker should have the same rights and obligations when it comes to the WFH arrangement. It is not always easy to complete this mission, but the right hybrid work arrangement can bring in many benefits in the organization of the work. Employees can be more satisfied when they know that working from home can save them time and money.

However, female leaders will still need to balance their careers and personal lives. They will continue to have many duties at home while their professional life is also happening at home. This kind of arrangement is not always a good option, and we see that women need more support from other family members to keep the proper work-life balance and maintain healthy relationships at home and among colleagues.
