On Thursday, the German luxury vehicle brand unveiled the BMW Concept 8 Series at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Esteto held this year. Officials of the automaker stated to the media that the car unveiled is a study model. This will help in effective production of the new BMW 8 Series Coupe. This range of cars is all set for its market launch in 2018. Before that, all the necessary tests will be conducted on this car.

This range of cars has been much awaited in comparison to the rest. Its launch took place close to Lake Como in the land of Italy. A striking feature that will catch your eye once you look at this car is that externally, it looks quite different than the rest of the cars of this brand. Chairman of the Board of Management at BMW, Harald Kruger stated that this forthcoming series focuses on demonstrating an amalgamation of modern luxury along with razor-sharp features. This car will also apparently raise the benchmark for coupes in general. He further added that the brand is known for successfully representing sports performance at its peak.
BMW Concept 8 Series features
The next step of BMW in the luxury brand of cars, this model will hopefully strengthen the position of BMW in this genre of automobiles. Senior President of BMW Group Design, Adrian van Hooydonk reveals that the car is a hardcore high-end driving machine. This luxury car has a sporty touch to it with unadulterated dynamics and modern luxury. Hooydonk also explains that the design of the BMW Concept 8 Series is a fresh interpretation of the usual styling cues of the brand.
With a long bonnet and flowing roofline, this car gives an instant impression of tasteful class with high power. The front of the luxury car has slim twin headlights, large kidney grille, and large air intakes. The wheels of the car are sporty in design as well as performance. It also advertises the rear-wheel drive of the BMW Concept 8 Series. There has been no announcement of its price as it is only a study model. Rest of the details will be unveiled by January 2018.
